چکیده
A novel approach to a trigger mode in the Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detector readout system is presented. The already installed at WEST tokamak. article briefly describes architecture of GEM and measurement system. Currently can work two modes: Global Trigger Local Trigger. All processing blocks are parts Charge Signal Sequencer module which responsible for transferring data PC. Therefore, presents structure with details about basic blocks, theirs functionality output configuration. algorithms implemented an FPGA chip from Xilinx. Trigger, default system, not efficient has limitations due storing much without any information. under tests, removes redundancy constructed send only valid data, but rest software, especially on PC side, still development. Therefore authors propose combines existing modes. proposed trigger, called Zero Suppression compatible interfaces also capable verify filter incoming signals transfer recognized events. results implementation simulation

Design of Fractional Order Sliding Mode Controller for Chaos Suppression of Atomic Force Microscope System
A novel nonlinear fractional order sliding mode controller is proposed to control the chaotic atomic force microscope system in presence of uncertainties and disturbances. In the design of the suggested fractional order controller, conformable fractional order derivative is applied. The stability of the scheme is proved by means of the Lyapunov theory based on conformable fractional order deriv...
متن کاملThe germanium wall of the GEM detector system
A stack of annular detectors made of high-purity germanium was developed. The detectors are position sensitive with radial structures. The first one (“Quirl”) is double-sided position sensitive defining 40 000 pixels, the following three (E1, E2 and E3) have 32 wedges each. The Quirl acts as tracker while the other three act as calorimeter. The stack was successfully operated in meson productio...
متن کاملTemporal heterodyne detector for multitemporal mode quantum state measurement
We propose a novel method for measuring the multitemporal mode quantum state of repetitive radiation fields with ultrafast temporal resolution. The technique incorporates spectrometers at the output ports of a DC-balanced four-port apparatus. The signal field to be measured is delayed in time with respect to an ultrashort local oscillator pulse which is taken to be in a large-amplitude single t...
متن کاملGender Equality Measurement ( Gem )
The workshop started with Doris Buss introducing the issues surrounding “the measurement of violence against women,” and its significance for public services, feminist organizations and scholars. The importance and the limits of measuring violence against women are varied; in some contexts, requirements to measure can impose burdens on overworked activists and service providers, and the product...
متن کاملThe Trigger System of the ARGO - YBJ detector
The ARGO-YBJ experiment has been designed to detect air shower events over a large size scale and with an energy threshold of a few hundreds GeV. The building blocks of the ARGO-YBJ detector are single-gap Resistive Plate Counters (RPCs). The trigger logic selects the events on the basis of their hit multiplicity. Inclusive triggers as well as dedicated triggers for specific physics channels or...
